Events
The focus of CHE is our weekly classes. We meet in Mountain Home on Thursdays for two fifty minute class periods breaking during holidays and the summer. All of our classes are parent or volunteer led. CHE is not a drop off program, and a parent or authorized guardian is required to stay onsite during activities. Because we are 100% parent-led we also ask that parents participate by either teaching or assisting in classes.
In addition to our weekly classes we have monthly field trips, seasonal parties, and a free curriculum lending library. CHE strives to offer a variety of opportunities for parents and kids to get together and enjoy fellowship with each other and the wonderful world God has created. If you're not able to attend classes, but would still like to participate in those activities, you can sign up to be members and pay the annual membership fee. Once your membership is approved you'll have full access to our events and activities.
Upcoming Classes
At Christian Home Educators of the Ozarks, we believe in equipping parents and students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in their homeschooling journey. Our co-op provides a wide range of support, from curriculum planning and teaching strategies to faith-based education and child development. Please Contact Us for a list of classes that are available! We may also have a list of classes already put together that need teachers if you would like to lead a class this term.
Social Events
In addition to educational support, we also organize a variety of social and recreational events to bring our community together. These events include field trips, holiday celebrations, park days, and family picnics, providing opportunities for children and parents to bond and create lasting memories. Many of our social events are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all ages, helping to build a sense of camaraderie and belonging among our members. By participating in these activities, families can enrich their homeschooling experience and develop a well-rounded, supportive network.
